The season is all concluded.
Vale are up to prems and Av will have to wait until next year to give it another go (and didn't they get close!) Well done Manly Vale, who were certainly the dominant force this season.
Congrats to Avalon's reserves for winning the reserves league, with Vale very close behind. Vale and Avalon were certainly the two best squads in the league for sure.
Semi Finals are tomorrow at Grahams reserve, with reserves kicking off at 12.30pm.
Avalon v Curl Curl and Manly Vale v Saints. Get an Eski, buy something cold and make an afternoon of it in the sun!
Will any of the half time team talks be like this one?

Updated tables moving into the last weekend of the season
Hello Football players and fans.
AL1's update:
First grade
Manly Vale, Avalon and Mosman are guaranteed finals football. The minor champions (league winners) will be confirmed at 4.45pm Saturday. If Vale beat Dee Why they will win and gain promotion to the premiership. If Vale lose we cant see Brookvale overcoming Avalon, so the premiership hop up will be theirs'. Only Av and Vale have the possibility of going up.
Dee Why, Saints and Harbord are all still in with a chance for that 4th finals berth.
Here is a link to the first grade table:
Reserves
CONGRATULATIONS Avalon!!!!!!!!!!
Avalon have won the minor championship (top of the league.) Av were certainly strong all year and whilst Vale and Saints rallied very well Av seemed to be able to score so many more goals than anyone else and that my dear readers is how you win games... Av also have the best defensive record along with Saints, which also helps to avoid losing ;)
So, with Avalon top, either Vale or Saints will finish 2nd and 3rd, with Curly already booked in the 4th finals berth.
Here is a link to the reserves table:
Good luck to every player this weekend. There is certainly a battle ongoing in first grade for promotion, the title and finals berths. Go hard!
Here is a video that will get you in the mood:
A three minute hatrick from Robbie Fowler from his Liverpool days!
Enjoy.

Updated links to AL1's tables and some local video action
Here are the links to the respective AL1's tables:

Check out this video from the Manly Vale v's Brookie clash a week or so ago. Some impressive play from the league leaders!
If it doesn't bucket it down in the next few days it is a double header weekend. Good luck to one and all (if Vale win their two games in first grade they will be in the premiership next year...)
