David Thomas Reserve Amenities and Lights Grand Opening!

David Thomas Reserve, home to the mighty Manly Vale Football Club, has a gala night on the 16th May 2009. Get down to 'the fortress' David Thomas Reserve next Saturday where politicians, the mayor and other local dignitaries and celebrities will join in the celebrations to officially welcome Manly Vale's new flood lights and sheds.

I am not sure if this is the first step to a 90,000 capacity football stadium at David Thomas Reserve? The committee at the mighty Manly Vale Football Club insist that it should be a good fun night for players, fans and family.

Manly Vale FC are riding high in the AL1 division this season, currently sitting at the top with a massive fixture this afternoon against second placed St Augustine's FC. Breaking scores later today will be posted on the Sportsmassive Twitter site: www.twitter.com/sportsmassive

    I look forward to seeing the tables up and live tomorrow!!

    I might take a look at the celebrity match on the 16th, even though I am not an MV player. I have heard it is going to be a good night!! Cheers!!

    It was a great fun night - some Sydbey FC opklayers showed up as did the legendary Damo from SBS - well done the Vale!!!
